Just bought myself a new car. I've been after a V8 for a long time, ideally housed in a classic body, so yesterday I put a deposit down on this:

Very excited about it drivingcloud9

Not the best pic - I'll get some better ones when I collect the car.

man that is one lovely car!!!

is it a '68?

where did you get it from?

have you had it checked out? A mate of mine just bought a fastback and found out the floor was completely rotten... cost him a fair few ££

that is one tidy little fleet you're building up there... something for every occasion.

It's a heavily modded 67. All checked out solid inside and out. Imported from California in January and barely used since.

The fleet is looking good now - sports car, GT, and utility

ETA: Got it from David Madders (California Classic Imports UK).

No problem. Due to me being busier than ever, I'm not picking it up for a month or so (plus there are a couple of bits and pieces being done on it too), but after that drooling is welcome but not on the paintwork please And it'll definitely turn up at SW meets too

yesthumbupThat looks lovely. It's not often I'm genuinely jealous of another man's car.

You have no idea how much I love this...

How about, I take you out in my S2 and you take me out in the Mustang? Sounds like a great deal to me .

I know the Fastback is the more desirable style, but that really does look good and is MUCH better value than said f/back.

I thought about looking for a fastback, but really couldn't afford it. A nice understated coupe will do very nicely
