It's not finished yet so these are photos of other finished, similar cars.

I'm wondering what colours you think will suit. The choice isn't limited to those shown here post whatever you think will suit, if you can post pics or even a photoshop that will be splendid!

I'm thinking not too dark as dirt and marks always show more.

These are the wheels I have for it, in 18"

I'm keen on Aston Martin silver/grey but it may be a bit tame?

I'd go for a solid colour - either red or yellow.

Maybe even white?

I've added a photo of a yellow one above, it does look nice - perhaps not such a bright yellow as that, more a pearl yellow?

I saw a brand new Mazda 6 the other day and it was a bright red and as you got closer you could see it had a larger flake pearl finish, looked really good. Not as big as the old 1970's flake mind you hehe

A re-bodied Pontiac, mid-engined, spaceframe chassis, new brakes, new interior, all new body, new wheels/tyres. Currently 2.8 V6 but will have a Northstar V8 / SBC engine in, or a "blown" 3.4 V6 (not sure yet).

For now, I need to get paint on the insides and shuts of some panels as I start the panel fitting, hence my plea for a good choice of colour.

I like silvery greys, they always look nice and solid and classy, perhaps a pearl finish too?

Yellow looks good!

I think the shape of the car suits a bold solid colour, wherever that is red, yellow, green (how about Violent Kermit Green from Lambo) or blue.

It's a Finale.

I'm tempted to say Rosso Corsa, and play on Joe Public's assumption that if it's red and it looks fast then it must be a Ferrari, but that's also the reason why I wouldn't choose red.

However, a 'supercar' simply has to look shocking and visually arresting.

I'd say one of the classic Lamborghini Miura/Countach colour schemes:

White with an orange interior
Metallic sky blue with a black interior
Lime green with a chocolate brown interior
Yellow with a Royal Blue interior
Orange with a black interior.

Just don't paint it black or silver. You don't want a dark car anyway (but if you did go for black at least give it either light tan or dark red leather seats and carpets), and silver makes all the curves look flat. It also shows up dirt and water worse than black as it reflects the light around it.

I think you're right, a bold lambo orange, green or yellow.

I think I'll have to see if I can get hold of photoshop and have a play around

I know and you are right in what you said in the magazine hehe
If you want something a bit head turning and different they are certainly a good bargain in original form. Mine gets more looks than my TVR used to get

I was tormented by the dilema of taking all the body off but this Fiero isn't very unmolested as it is and the Finale is such a quality kit and IMHO a good looking machine I couldn't resist. However, I have seen a nice original and rarer formula for sale So, may add that to the collection.

If a genuine Mera happens along I'd be seriously interested in one but we're talking £10k - 15k for an original one of those.

Good suggestions TC and good points about silver looking a bit flat.

It will have a very curvacious body so may as well show it off!

Had a quick play with the levels and decided green looks great (fresher and more modern making it less kit car like) second choice would be bronze. I quickly shopped in the wheels which are very flat but give an idea.

Guys that is great, thanks everso for doing that for me.

I don't have a photoshop type application

Is there a possibility that you can do the same with a brighter silver, the lambo lime green and the lambo sunset orange pearly colours?

To see them on the car would be great!

I really do appreciate this!

Thanks,
K

Grey makes it look like an old 300ZX. I'd go for Corvette electric blue.
