Inappropriate colours for certain cars

The solid baby blue offered on the Alfa 156 - especially when combined with steel wheels and hubcaps. I can't imagine what possessed them, after designing such a beautiful piece of automotive pornography, to then offer it in the most unflattering colour imaginable.
(Apart from, possibly, Pensioner Gold, as seen most commonly on elderly BL/Austin-Rover kit, and - I hang my head in shame even though my one happens to be black - the Vauxhall Omega.)

Why though? It's a Ford hatch. Yes it may be fast but I also think it's a bit too chav. The real kick in the nuts is that it looks infinately better in silver or red.

No idea... as far as I can see it just means that in three years time when the colour is no longer in fashion, they'll be lots of very cheap Focii. It was planned to be a limited launch colour, but the orders kept on coming...
White looks awful, silver and red are OK, but performance blue and magnum grey look good. Black doesn't seem to work that well on the car.
Any car painted in in that pearlescant metalic flake guff that changes coluor depending on the way the sun's shining, making the car look like its been sandblasted with glitter.

and dont get me started on the chav's who buy a corsa for 500 notes and then spend 3k getting it painted some ridiculous hue. muppets.
oh and I noticed last night that the Rangy doesnt suit light blue metalic at all. infact does any car??

LOL, my friend had one of those though it was a V6 so had the telephone dial wheels. Whilst I relentlessly took the pee out of him for it, I actually quite liked it.
