whats this?
wrong car, wrong car as it should be called

I'd go for the Porsche if I had to chop in a Chimeara.

Its a terrible situation to be in

I didn't see the start of the program. Why is getting shot of the TVR?

Not sure, but I wouldn't choose a BMW/Audi or little Merc over a V plate Chimaera.

Dominic Littlewood know's shaft all about TVR prices - £18k for a 1999 model!!!!!!!

I do know the Porsche place is Prestige & Performance cars near Uxbridge.

'twas funny how the programme started off calling it a Griffith and then about half-way through changefd their minds to a Chim.

Well, it made me laugh, anyway. Good to see these guys know their cars...

For 35K why didnt they show him an RT 10 Viper. Open top, stacks of power, no 2 on his wish list. Certainly attract the same attention a Purple TVR does.

Oh well, out of the selection, he did the right thing.

Well...the dealers were willing to give 18-20k. So he was pretty much right wasn't he ? Presumably (knowing the dealer concerned quite well) the guy was hard at work covering up the join between the two 996s when they went to visit him. Alledgedly.
Presumably mrs nice-but-dim's expecting ? Hence the need for 4 seats and a bit of practicality ? How's the Tuscan fit into that then

Edited to remove the effects of too many glasses of wine

He upheld the spirit of TVR well!!

Great bit in the Porker where he starts saying it's 'as quick as' (his Tiv) then , of course, corrects himself and says 'nearly as quick'

I would have liked the guy to have said, on seeing a beemer, merc and audi, to have reeled in shock yelling "Call that special!!!" What were these people thinking? they are nice cars but not exactly in the same league as a TVR. Porker was nice, Fezzer too but a Jag? once again a nice car but the guy was clearly looking for something exciting. I'm sure they could have found a Viper, Marcos, Aston or big Lotus. Still common sense prevailed and the big feller went for a Tuscan, did you buy it then mate?

I thought the programme was for a griff too!
Eee these "experts" took half the programme to say it was a chimaera
Class quote from Dom - "BMWs - quality car driven by
Tw-ts"!

I was disappointed in their selection. For 35K he could have got something a bit more suited - only the Ferrari seeemd to live up to a purple 450

I love that Chimaera - what a clour scheme
have to agree with him when he says people usually go too bland - I long for another convertible but it cant be "safe" blue or green!

If you want a Tiv it has to stand out - go on get something interesting in your next order. Makes the second hand market a bit more tastey!

I thought Id seen the car before you know

There some people are, slagging off - "something in the city" man and I bet he's on here reading it?
His cars in classifieds so he must now want a Tuscan or has bought one and isnt statisfied with the 19 - 20k offered. Go on offer him £20,001!

Is that the one?
