Mid-Essex meet on Sunday!

A little while back there was some interest to have a bit of a "collective drive" (convoys are naughty apparently) to the Mid-Essex meet on Sunday...

...so... who's interested? Meet starts at the Forresters (Great Totham) at 12:30 and I'll be there with the S (spare seat this time round too!).

I'm heading there from Chelmsford, and tend to go via Boreham and Hatfield Peveral, stop for a fill-up at the OptiMax garage outside Great Totham and then on to the meet... anyone want to join me?

Love to go (as I promised pauline about 3 months ago I would take the pony up one Sunday) but yet again my wife has been filling in all the weekends with things to do (family dinner this time so unfortuantely I will not be able to go ----and I am gutted again...oh well - at least I am off for a week to Le Mans and the Cannonball...I will get over it...

OK, current plan is to meet at the Duke - it's the big pub on the left as you turn right in Hatfield Peveral to go down Maldon Road.

Shall we say about 12:00-12:10..?

Got your email. As it happens, I was also arranging a small convoy from Southend only 3/4 of us & we normally go up a130 then around some back roads. Don't know if its easier if we meet you there...but can check with the other guys.

Sounds fine to me in principle mate... only issue with that is the speed bumps! - the S won't clear the ones in the BP garage!!!

About half a mile from the Boreham services on the A12. Come off the A12 at Boreham (heading towards Hatfield Peveral) and take the 2nd exit from the roundabout... drive for half a mile (if that!) and Sainsbury's is on the right, and the White Hart pub on the left.
