Having trouble getting my tuscan on the road due to the bloody DVLA cocking paperwork as i am transferring a private registration to my new car. I've now owned the car for two weeks and i am insured, but can't drive it. Has anybody else had this trouble and can advise?

If you have just been waiting patiently, but haven't yet phoned the DVLA, then I suggest that you give them a call. When I have had problems transferring personal registrations I've found the DVLA quick to answer the phone and to give explanations of the cause of the delay.

Is it a straightforward assignment where you have a retention certificate and are named as the Nominee and the Grantee?

The DVLA have put the wrong make & model of several TVRs when they have been first registered. I know of a couple of T350s that had make down as Reliant on the V5.

Not quite what you are after but do check the paperwork when it comes back.
