Anyone started using Tescos petrol again?

Converted about 2 months ago from V-power as was getting a lot of problems with cutting out and lumpy running coinciding with change from Optimax. Now running fine but tank nearly empty and need to top up with something. Just wondering if anyone else has braved Tesco 99 just yet?

I don't think the 99 was ever a problem. Just the regular 95.

Fortunately I was not affected as I only use Tesco occasionaly for the regular Volvo drive, however you cant help but feel for the poor blighters that did get caught up in this debacle and to my mind they were left high and dry for a long time before the mighty Tesco and Asda coughed up to acknowledge the problem. Voting with my feet for what its worth.

Big sign outside our tesco - This tesco was not affected by the fuel problems ... plus some other words which I cant exactly remember but to the effect that Tesco fuel is top quality and you should never bother going anywhere else.

Interstingly, the Kettering Tesco a day or two ago had all its 99 octane pumps out of use and was claiming not to be affected by the problem. The cynic in me wondered if the regular tanks had been drained/condemned and the 99 was being sold as regular instead (as no-one would ever know the difference. Just seemed odd they were all u/s on a big forecourt.
