Hello you lot,
following on from the rip-snorting success of our first hoon of pure silliness i thought it was high time for us to have another. Sure, its taken me three months to decide that, but look, the point is this: the time is nigh.
My suggestion is in-car silliness on Sunday 1st April starting in Cambridge (well, near it as central Cambridge is a bit car un-friendly), and then hooning across some of the regions best roads whilst stealing an assortment of crap that some bloke you met on the internet asked you to nab. try and tell me that doesn't sound ace. you cant.
for those of you that don't know, pher magic torch and I run a little charity hoon thingy where we scope out some ace regions to blast about in and thread them all together with a treasure hunt and some of the most obscure clues possible. your job is to decipher the clues, find the locations and collect items from the plunder list and try and collect the requested pieces of info (for example 'how many dogs are pictured on the sign at the pub at the place we've just sent you to') from the ridiculously obscure and cryptic questions given. its huge fun, as I'm sure the people who attended before will readily attest.
theres no need to dress up or owt, you just need to meet us at the start point, donate a tenner per person (all profits go to the RNLI), (max 20 quid per car) get given a map and a clue sheet and a plunder list, and then off we go, silliness abound.
were going to meet at duxford museum car park at 1130 for a 12 oclock kick off, please be on time folks so we can get to plundering'
then, allowing for massive confusion, we all meet up a couple of hours later at a pub for a drink and some prize giving. we start at twelve, so were usually done by 230 and then you can all crawl home, happy and hungover.
so then, who's with me? we need 20 people to attend to make the hoon worthwhile else its not cost effective to do, and it'd be so ace to see you all.
sign in here please, cos from what i know of these things, once a few of you good folk show an interest, lots more come on board. remember gang, this is for good people, not just good cars.
so then, in summary, its a) a huge laugh with mates (and we like that, plus y'all will get the chance to watch me crash/ break down/ explode in my TVR) and b) big fat hoon-age on a pretty spring day (whats not to like about that?) and c) all for charity (means we get to feel less guilty about frittering 100's of quid away on cars and optimax). in short, its time to sign.
c'mon guys, id love to see you all. No excuses, no permission slips, no prior commitments: just move stuff around, and see us there. thats what were all about, innit?
