I found this on another forum, I did a search for 'twin engined lupo' and nothing came back, so I apologize if this is a repost.

You gotta have respect for this guy, two 24v V6's in a little Lupo.

Amazing work!

twin engined VWs are quite common, I remember Dubsport did a number of Mk1,2 & 3 Golfs. The daddy being 'Big Dub', twin engined VR6s with superchargers cloud9

True. But this is pretty special for a guy doing it in his garage kind of project.

Plus they're bloody big engines for a little car.

That is a car I'd like to have a go in!

That little Lupo really is an impressive piece of work, is there any more info on it?

I like the cut out in the bonnet to enable the engine to fit! biggrin

I am guessing it's quick; in a straight line anyway.

Im guessing this is more for show. As VR6 engined Lupo's have been done before, sans the cut out. But with an engine in the back too!? Thats pretty nutty..

Theres a handful of Lupo's doing the rounds with 1.8T engines in, and these I really like..

I just spent an hour reading that thread. There are few people with the dedication and skills to do that. Wonder what it will weigh in at with its 12 cylinders and 5 litres of muscle?

Can't wait to see it finished.

SO the front end isn't legal - and the seats are boggo-standard; it'll be a little bit noisy (with an uncovered engine 3 feets from the drivers ear), and I'm guessing that it might not be all that light...but still, a bloody impressive build.

Wonder if it corners like a pig though.
