u're rightand I agree with you, but it seems u forgot some other repelling motorized freaks.
Let's name a few (in no particular order):

Peugeot 206CC (vade retro)
Opel Corsa (ludicrous tuning basis)
WW lupo (idem, but even worse)
Fiat Multipla (nothing to say for this one, it's too harmful)

by the way, u asked for the ugliest cars..... but are those things to be regarded as cars ?

Any car designed in Japan in the 90's

They all look sh~te, even the Mitso EVO's, Scooby Impretsas (sp) Datsun Skylines all look like sub standard soon to be minicabs, No amount of add-on plastic can make these three-box-soloons look good. They all look like they've had half an hour with "bolt-On-Boy"

I really don't care if they have the most advanced 4WD systems etc, they all look rubbish.

r-bin, I totally agree with the Citroen thing. They are incapable of producing a car that isnt minging. The 2CV, the AX, the BX, the CX, the Visa, all dreadful. Stupid, Gallic, air suspension bags of plastic Sh@te. The only redeeming feature is that they rot quickly.

I think that nothing quite beets the 'oops' factor in design more than the Aston Martin Lagonda.

Probably the only Aston I don't like !

1.All Citroens.
2.Fiat multipla
3.PT cruiser.
4.Morgan aero 8- Bog eyed monster!!

Prettiest ever for me was the original 1991 motor show TVR Griffith. I kept going back to the stand and lusting after it!! Took me eight years saving but I got one in the end!

1: Fiat multiple pileup or whatever its called. Its just wrong.
2.The new BMW 7 series. got a close look at one the other day. How does a car with chunky 19" wheels look overbodied? Its the most beautifully made T#"d ever.
3: Just about anything made in america between '72 and the ninties, but that does not mean anything since then was good, just better.
4: hy 'n' dry coupe thing. wheres the valve to let the air out? makes me want to put down my pens and stop being a car designer
5: all super minis (Jap ones particually) and MPV's. in fact any one box design. In the words of Monty python " stop that its silly"

Darts are cool if the bumpers are removed and wire wheels with generously proportioned rubber fitted

Citroen C5 and the van thing that looks the same front and back....why do people buy these hopelessly awkward looking designs, remember when they could make pretty cars like the DS etc

1. Toyota Yaris Verso - What a cock up. How can they go so wrong? (Normal Yaris is OK for a city type car though.)
2. Land Rover Freelander - Looks like it's made of lego bricks.
3. Original Toyota Rav4 - remind anyone of the AMC Pacer?
4. Boxster - sorry, I personally don't like the styling, 996 is better though.
5. Z3 - say no more.
6. Jag S Type - talk about copying the Rover 75 (not saying I'd have a 75, but it looks much better than the S Type.) X Type looks nice though.
7. Mazda Pregnancy.
8. Ford Galaxy (I think I hate the driver's more than the car itself though).
9. Mk1 Lotus Elise - yuk. Mk2 is an improvement, but looks overstyled now.

I think that will do.

Its got to be a Z3 - they look like toy cars, and sound like hairdryers.

And the Lexus SC 430 coupe; so fat and bloated. Compare it to a Tuscan and it looks like a whale. The Japanese do seem to be losing their way, despite using European designers.

What do you think of the Exige, Trefor? My eldest son has one and I love it (but will not take the slightest offence if you dislike it intensely)!

Disappointed with the S Type. They pinched the C Type grille but never had the grace to admit it (see reference below - one of my favourites).

Anyone seen this new 'serpent' supercar type thing from Japan? IMO a right minger. Oh, Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite, that's gribbling too.

You can't dis the Frogeye, that was a great little English sports car.

Surley you can find more cars to dis than that - French cars maybe? - they made to many mingers!
