Exactly.

So you walk into some kind of dealership, and say "i'd like to buy a Sagaruscanamora, here's my £40,000. I'll see you in 16weeks."

E39 M5 V8 > old Griff chassis/body = good enough...

Why make a 'new special expensive car' and new 'special expensive engine', which is what helped bugger over TVR in the first place!?

It's just embarrasing!

let it die with what little dignity it has left.

Hopefully NS and DO are headed for the Northern Rock!!

I wonder how long it will be before all concerned realise that shipping all the bits to Italy and the finished cars back to the UK might be a bit pricey!

If they want a production plant I can think of about three in the UK running at low capacity without even stopping for breath - Bertone have quoted a good price because they are desperate for work and have I belive, issued profits warnings. If Bertone pick up a deal elsewhere TVR's future will be in jeopardy again as they renegotiate the deal

Perhaps they should set up a semi-autonomous subsidiary manufacturing business in a small industrial unit where there is a ready skill supply - somewhere like Blackpool airport perhaps!

Same old bulls**t that came out of the Bristol Ave boardroom week after week, after week, after week during Smolenski's regime.
