My green Mini Cooper S was stolen last night. The car was nicked from High Wycombe and has a few significant distinguishing characteristics.

British Racing Green
Black Roof
Large PH Smiley Sticker on the Rear Quarter Near side window
White Ring Sticker on the boot
Small PH smiley sticker in the back window.

What makes this car slightly unusual is that it also has an upgraded stereo system.

McIntosh Labs MX406 head unit
1 x Genesis Profile Sub amp
1 x Genesis Dual Mono amp

Although the amps are fairly common the head unit is extremely rare. If anyone (especially the flee bay trolls amongst you) happens to see one coming up for sale could you PM as soon as possible. Below is a picture of the head unit.

The reg of the car is OE 05 YTY

When did it go mate?

I saw this (or one very very similar) in Iver last night, probably at about 5:30. It went past the showroom.

Sad to say yes. Little barsteward(s) broke into the house nicked a couple of laptops then riffled through several coats and came across the keys to the car.

That was almost certainly me driving home from work yesterday as I work in Cowley and go through Iver rather than Uxbridge to get home.

Thanks to all who'll keep their eyes open for it..

ETA Photo as requested. (before the PH stickers were added)

The Missus was crying when she found out that the car had been stolen.

Look on the bright side...

a guy in my road had 4 guys break down his door and threaten him with an axe for the keys to his Audi.

Feel for ya mate ....

Ferkin Barstewards ... and that is / was a right cracking little Mini too ... was an absolute scream at the ring!!

How the rest of the family taking the house break-in too ?? that sort of sh1t in general is very unsettling!!!

Were you still on them Federal semi-slick tires too?? if seen parked up they are a rather distinctive feature too !!!

Sorry to hear this. That radio looks especially lovely. I looked up the make on the internet and it all makes sense. Hope you get back both the car and radio, in original condition.

No news.. frown

Although I have a new found respect for Plod. They don't half have a hard time with all the shit that they have to go through just to report an incident.

On another note they can't even track mobiles unless it involves a serious crime. So my nicked mobile (which I know the thief used as they mis-dialled the number and I had some random woman calling me back on my replacement phone) is of no use to them as no capital offense has been committed.

So I'm now perusing Auto Trader to find a shed to run around in.

(John... No way will I buy a 911. Sad as this may sound but I'd always have this nagging feeling in the back of my mind that you've got a better 911 than I could ever hope to get. Jealous??? Moi???? Never wink )
