My daughters air bag light keeps flashing on and off , i checked the connection under the seat, but that is ok ,anybody any ideas.

Even if the connection's ok it can still need resetting.

What car is it? Many cars are now of the age that they will require having their airbag(s) replaced as the old ones go out of date (yes really, airbage do have a best before date). Most airbags will last 10-15 years before they need replacement, though I'm not sure whether this would cause the light to go on/off.

A litle trick I learnt was to move the seat all the way forward and then ram it back as far as it will go on it's runners. It may work on your car, it may not, but, it's worth a try.

it's pretty much always a bad connection under the seat, a fix is to cut the connector and solder the wires together, you will not be able to remove the seat as easily, but i doubt thats ever going to be a problem

requires the usual battery disconnect before hand though
