Apparently the above version was based on the RS2600 but i'm sure its a 3100. Seeing as no-one has kept up to date with the current picture of the week since then, here are some of mine.

WT... - what is the first one?
It reminded me of the XJs when they went touring car racing but it seems to have an Aston front. Unusual looking motor.

It is an Aston Martin DBS V8 GTP, this was used in Le Mans by Robin Hamilton (who also prepared it) and is one of the unknown Astons as it's not celebrated this is mostly because it came 17th overall at Le Mans and 3rd in the GTP class at the 1977 Le Mans 24-hour race.
