Some top pictures there

I love the one of Rod Jolly in his Cooper, the bloke is a legend!
Always makes me laugh when he keeps his hearing aid in when he jumps into his cars, the engine note obviously is not loud enough!!!

I keep saying it but i MUST get to next years revival

Wonderful pictures, Adam.

How the hell did you get a beautiful shot of the Spitfire (number 46- taken undeneath). I have been trying for years to take good aircraft pictures, but always fail...

I used an old Olympus OM1n with a 75-300 Sigma zoom. Fuji 400 film rated at 800.We have a high speed neg scanner at work so I used that to scan the films.

I think it was more luck than judgement!

It would have to be the AM DBR1 on my birthday list, although I wouldn't be disappointed if the Maser turned up instead.

you were obviously stood on sunday right where I was on saturday, I was there friday too, two fab days, friday was a bit of an odd day as there was a couple of nasty accidents, but the Revival is without a doubt the worlds premier historic motorsport event in my eyes. You great pictures, mine not back yet, I use a pentax with a sigma 28 to 80 and a sigma 80 to 300, kodak film 400, if I want a side shot of a car going faster than I reckon I can snap I use the motor wind, expensive but helps to get some really good shots.

Using a Fujo 400 film rated at 800?

Does this mean you use an ISO400 film and set the camera to 800 ISO?

Sorry to ask, I'm a bit thick when it comes to "old" camera stuff!

Yeah, thats right, just means you have to push process it. I did start of with the first film rated at 400 ISO, but then the sun went in so I pushed the other 2 I took to 800 ISO, just to give me a bit more latitude.

Thank's - I'm trying to learn slowly.

Nice how the pictures look like you could have taken them in the 60's!

Excellent Pics Adam.

What is this 'film' stuff you keep talking about? I can find no mention of it in my Photoshop documentation?

But really, it's nice to see some very good old fashioned photography - in keeping with the event!

Great Photos. Thanks
Talked to people who were there and must go next year.
They also said the crowds were taking part too, lots of people dressed up in clothes typical of the era they enjoyed the racing of, from wartime fashion and uniforms to sixties mini skirts,
Think I will be hitting the old vintage clothes on ebay to see what I can find.
They also enjoyed all the other things like the actors from Dad's Army.

Definitely must go next year.

The "Dad's Army" army actors were clones - not the real ones (seeing as how most of the originals aren't with us anymore).

They're fabulous mate.

Very professional. Superb shots of the aircraft particually.

I'll take all the cars actually. Don't bother wrapping the Dino. I'll drive that home.
