Anyone had this asked of them?

My wife has booked her Saab into our local main dealer for it's 36,000 mile service, and they have asked her to produce her driving licence when she brings it in!!

What's that all about?

And if you forget it they charge £10 to phone the DVLA & Confirm you have one.

You can allow the garage to keep your details on record so they don't need to ask again.

Don't they have to check you haven't racked up 12 points since you were last there though?
