Doesn't say, but if it's a litre engine it's gotta be a Gixxer or an R1 motor.

I am sure I have seen a video with a kart racing a bike round Donington (I think), bike came second.

I have seen this so many times before. The first one is an R1 engine. The GIXXER cart is clearly the engine from the Suzuki GSXR 1100 hence "GIXXER"

But, this is a seriously cool idea.
