I like this comment

Another chancer runs riot over the laws of this country. I've no sympathy with the wardens etc. but people like this just give everything the middle finger. I suppose we will have saved a few quid from the benefit claim though.

Parking on the public highway is obstruction and should not be allowed. If the house has no drive or garage then you shouldn't have a car.

Shame! I penned a very witty reply to some of the DM posters including the phrase "Bigoted aholes" however it seems that their comments are "pre-moderated" so it's rather likely it will not be published. D'Oh!

The chap should not have admitted to climbing onto the back of the tow-truck, for he could then have sued the company for whiplash as his car was being lifted. smile

Parking on the public highway is obstruction and should not be allowed. I'm very rich so don't have to. Bwahaha!

It seems in all of these parking cases the PH massive always side with the driver. I have to drive through London as part of my job. I have lost count of the amount of time I have lost through sitting in traffic queues caused by someone parked on a double yellow / red line. Anyone who parks on one of those should be towed immediatley.
I don't agree with towing people that go over their ticket though.

Glad to see someone hasn't jumped on the band wagon of simply agreeing with the first couple of posters. The dick was parked illegally, and if he had been a 17 year old chav PG would have torn him a new one.

The toerag in question is no better than the scrounging social welfare losers that pervade this country, doing as little as possible to get by and always armed with some excuse for their cretinous behaviour.

What's worse, parking illegally or having the warden who slaps the ticket on you car being in the UK illegally. What a country!

Yep, what a bellend!

I suppose, Dr.Ashley, that a massive bloody crane sitting in the middle of the road for two hours isn't an obstruction and should be allowed?!

I hate selfish eejits parking inconsiderately and inconveniencing everybody. But parking by your own house at 6pm when restrictions end at 7, and getting towed and stuck for 300 odd squids? feck that. Good on him!

"Wardens quit as visa checks begin"
Does that mean that tickets issued by these "wardens" are invalid since they've been incorrectly issued by someone who wasn't supposed to be here in the first place ?
