To look bad!

Today, for reasons I found out later a woman was taking a shower at the top of Northumberland Street (pedestrian street) in Newcastle. It was something for a shampoo company or something.

Anyway, there I was head down walking down the street to get my lunch, happily listening to Crash Test Dummies's "I don't care that you don't mind" and encounter some traffic. Head down I pass through them, glancing to the left I spot a fit (and I mean FIT) tanned babe in a pink bikini in a shower to my left. So what do you do, you stop and look don't you.

Then I realised there was a noticable lack of people around me. For at least 10 ft around me. Then there were people. Lots of people. All looking at me. Now, I'm not the most confident of people, but I'm impressed I managed to wave and say "hi", mean more so the nod I gave to the model now looking at me as well

So I continue walking. Past the other side, head down, red faced.

But did I really just see that? Sooooo I look back. The model is now turned around and is looking down the street (for what ever reason) so are the crowd.

Then I walk into the lamp-post.

My shoulder hurts, my head hurts and I heard all the laughter over my reasonably loud headphones.

After lying on the floor for some time pissing myself laughing (for some reason people thought I was hurt) I picked myself up, dusted my self down. Held my sore head high and walked off. I looked back and everyone was still pissing themselves.

So you see, it just takes a fit lass to make you do something stupid, not drink (I haven't had an alcoholic drink in 14weeks).

Owe.

Dammit Ted, get that drink/keyboard/monitor interface icon thingy sorted out for threads like this - we need warning!

Classic story Doc!
Hope it was just your pride that took the bad bruising!

Bu66er, missed it. Used to do Northumberland St every day at lunch, but since moving to the "Business Park", all I ever seem to do is PH.
