Some tosser has fecking driven along my bumper whilst trying to do a U Turn in my street (roadworks). And they they've fecking driven off.

Why would you do that? Why? Now I have bif fecking gouges out of the paint work and huge white scrapes all along my lovely black paintwork. He/She must have hit it bloody hard.

It's going to cost me a fortune to fix. What kind of person does that?

Rant Over.

reminds me of my gran a few years back, she got pulled into the local golf club for a chat about hitting some car, she had no idea about it and got shown the cctv of her reversing into some jag and driving off....

guess if no-one is around and it is not spotted, might be tempted to drive off

get the odd occasion when a bmw driver has parked really close to me and in the struggle to get in my seat, the door has left a line mark, do I leave my details or forget about it, being a bmw driver, he will have lots of money and cant seem to find a pen....

Police are absolutely useless when it comes to things like this, any car incident they rarely car about (unless it's a speeding ticket*!)

  • yes I know it's a different devision of the police, but for the sake of the rant who cares!

Vinnie, you're too opinionated. That's potatoes it is!

Unfortunately with no reg plate or evidence what can be done?

Smutty, do you have CCTV in your street?

Wow, perhaps changing your attitude to others would improve your chances of being the BMW driver you so want to be?! As above, green eyes aint good.

That's right all BMW drivers are so minted that any damage can be easily paid by their massively overpaid wages without so much as a dent on their wallet. Maybe it's his company car and works for BMW and as it gets dented all the time by mindless idiots so the car gets taken off him or fined. rolleyes

How about you lose some weight so you can squease through the door without damaging other peoples property.

I stood and watched some idiot reverse into the (freshly repainted and repaired) front clam of my Elise in Regents Park in the summer. Despite having four or five of us shouting 'stop!' at him, he kept going until he rolled in to it. I walked over and asked him what he thought he was doing. The response?

"I only nudged it."

Your case is probably another one that parks by feel and shouldn't be driving.
