Boredom got the better of me tonight, and out of curiosity i checked the rac website to see what car the number 'D14BLO' was registered to.
It appears to be on a Murcielago hehe

So that got me thinking; i wonder if there are any other good plates that are registered to the wrong cars.

So far i've found:

R8 AUD (Audi R8) : Mercedes A Class.
F8 RDY (Fordy) : Jaguar S Type

I'm sure there are more. Just a case of finding them...

Rob.

D14BLO was on a Diablo when the owner had one before the Murcie though. But yes, not so relevant now.

I had kinda figured that one out, but i'd rather have the plate on retention.
I'd feel a bit of a fool driving a Murcielago with a Diablo plate.
Not that the Murci owner cares much i'm guessing.

My MX5 came with the plate M5 MXX. I'd sooner have it on an M5 though.....

If memory serves me correctly Diablo is a spanish or Italian meaning for devil... Just a thought that it might not be a car related registration for the owner.

AGR1F was on a Union Jack decorated Brabus Smart around north Bristol a little while ago. I've vowed to stop him and make him an offer if I see it again!
