It looks like it's here to stay, so who would you like to see drive the Top Gear reasonably priced car?
ETA Stirling Moss.

Anybody except for those idiots they had on in the last series - except for Jay Kay, anyway. Nice to see a petrolhead doing the job instead of the constant round of luvvies. smile

Seriously - Boris!

Made me busrt out laughing in the middle of the silent office at work, classic.

Personally I'de quite like to see Xzibit from Pimp my Ride on SIARPC, could be funny and surprisingly quick.

yes that would be more interesting, they did start this sort of thing with Webber, Hill etc but it seemed to drop off

Rossi would be a brilliant guest for the racing drivers board, they should make more use of that IMO.

Monbiot. Give him a supercharged Mustang to do it in. Then set light to the car half way round. They can have one of those hugely OTT explosions they're so fond of; it'll be both spectacular and useful.

I'd like to see people stop abbreviating everything. Star In A Reasonably Priced Car doesn't take long to type, and it means people don't have to open the topic to know what this thread is about!

I'm not a star, but i'd like to see myself in a reasonably priced car.
I really want to know how i'd compare to the rest on the board.

They should change it to "Petrolhead nobody in a reasonably priced car"

I agree. It spent too long trying to figure out what the hell SIARPC could be before i clicked on it.
