Traveling across Vietnam on bikes I think, not sure if they're doing a Star in the Car this week, hope not.
great, I like the episode where they travel through places. Agree with the 'Star in a Car' thing.. Sometimes they have really boring guests, perhaps they should ditch that bit
Apparently they went there with the objective of buying cars with a budget and driving across the country (ala USA, Africa etc) but found that cars are so uncommon in Vietnam that they couldn't buy any cheap bangers, so decided to buy two wheeled vehicles instead.
There was a picture in one of the newspaper magazines yesterday of JC sitting on a moped strapped to a makeshift raft, so maybe not a serious motoring programme again but should be fun.

BBC2 is looking half decent today, a brand new Stingray, old Thunderbirds, May's top toys, TG, Mille Miglia. I'm cradling my new Eagle annual of cutaways and rocking forward and back in overload.
ETA: all preceeded by The Eagle Has Landed!
I'm off out to play Japs and Commandos 'til then.

Well Top Gear has been more 'entertainment' than 'serious' motoring for a good while now.. I find it really entertaining as does my wife There was a picture in one of the newspaper magazines yesterday of JC sitting on a moped strapped to a makeshift raft, so maybe not a serious motoring programme again but should be fun.
the format they have now appeals to a larger audience..Dr Imran T said:

I know I can just use iPlayer, but they must know it was silly to start TG and The 39 Steps at the same time? Bearing in mind they're about the only two programs in the last two weeks that haven't been a) a repeat; or b) w@nk.
Is this a brand new version that I've not heard about?Gassing Station | General Gassing [Archive] | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
