After changing the battery this morning the car has shat itself of time and any stereo settings.

The stereo was tweaked to how I liked it with the amount of metal that got thrown through it!

Are there any way of getting the equalizer setup in a good way? Ive had a quick look at google and cant find what I'm after.

Anyone have any guides that may help?

Any proper car audio place could sort it for you simply by telling them what you will be listening to.

My current state of drunkenness means I'm putting a +1 on that.

Adjust it while sat in the car till you like how it sounds, it's just a car stereo system, very easy to adjust yourself unless it's an amazing all singing and dancing unit.

My guess is head unit, amped fronts, amped sub, head unit powered rears?

Dave!

Head Unit, HU driven front&rears and a small sub in the boot.

I'l crack out the Pink Floyd CD and get it tuned to that tonight!

Do yourself a favour and get an amp if you have decent speakers. An amp and one set of 6x9s is infinitely better than head unit driven anything.

TBH The speakers aint fantastic, but thanks for the info smile I might look and something like that in my next car.

Fronts are some £100 Panasonic components and the Rear some £40 Sony/Kenwood whatevers.
