88.6 at the Shell and 90.* at BP. As a comparison, the Sainsbury's at Biggleswade was 85.9.

The prices around boringstoke were pretty even, but the BP has gone up 5p per liter, but the local Tesco has stayed at 82.9p ....

Crude climbed 14% from December but over the past 2 days it has fell by Approx 11% + the £\$ there is no real reason for the price increase.
If it was about Gazza the crude would have shot up but its been falling?

Some petrol stations seem to operate in a competitive vacuum, applying a random price to whatever suits them. I suspect they are independent run and hence are a franchise of Shell and BP, allowing them autonomy. Either way, Reading services puts whatever prices it wants to, regardless of what is happening......

Mind you, everyone near me at home is doing 83.5p a litre, so I am not complaining - cheapest fuel for 3 years!

I filled up at Asda in Warrington at midnight last night for 82.9p per litre.

Shell in Newbury was 82.9 on my way into work this morning, though i've been putting super in recently , will have to go back to standard if the price gets to stupid levels again!
