Cars for next series of Wheeler Dealers...
Discussion
I'm signed up to some thing with Discovery where they send me surveys and previews of new shows etc. Anyway, this one came through today about wheeler dealers - looks like the shortlist of cars for the next series, which you had to rate on interestingness from 1-10.
Here are my rankings:

And yes, on the next page I said more Ed China, less Mike Brewer. Would save a lot of wear and tear on my fast-forward button.

Haven't they already done a 944 and VW Beetle? I'm sure they turned a rotten beetle into a dune buggy and a 944 ended up having new wheels and so on bought from a specialist (and I'm not getting mistaken with their ancient 911 that had a recon gearbox for the spuriously cheap (read free advertising) price of about £1500!)
Yeah I they did a Beetle and a 924 I think it was. They've also done a Mini before which is repeated again on that list.
Not sure when it will be broadcast, but the last series has only just finished, so probably not for a while. Also they only do about 6 cars per series, so the TVR might not be chosen. I gave it a 10 on the shortlist though

944 hasn't been done but 924, 911 and 928 have.
Mini has been done too (very crusty 60's 998 I seem to remember).
Beetle was supposed to have been restored but was so crusty it was converted into a beach buggy which was sold to a guy called Tobin. Unusual name that. Coincidentally the guy that wrote the music for the show was also called Tobin.
Definitely more Edd and less Brewer, good call.

Could be interesting if they're sticking with £1000ish budget. seem to remember Beach Buggy cost a fortune, took hundreds of hours and made a crappy little profit or may have even been a loss (definately a loss if labour included).also recall motor Mouth sticking replica graphics on a Porsche then blatantly telling punter they were all original ! change of presenter and could be half decent show.
