Any of you fellow iPhone owners have a plausible solution for mounting the thing in car. I have invested in a
Connects 2 audio system to allow playback on my headunit, however having it lying around the cupholders will not do!

A quick check on google shows those cheap'o stick to the window solutions which I found very irritating with my last phone, mainly because it rattled like hell!!

Also I don't fancy drilling holes in me dashboard.. Is there a product out there that will satisfy my OCD needs?

I picked up a £5 stick-on-window-on-a-bendy-arm job for mine from a Vodaphone shop - does the job perfectly. No rattles, holds the phone well without stopping you from pressing stuff on the screen.

If you don't mind spending a few quid, a Brodit bracket (which fits to the car with no holes or disturbing trim) and then one of their holders for the iphone side. Not cheap but well made, they fit and work very nicely.

I picked mine up from Tescos (stick on window type) for £5 and on its widest setting it will just fit in with the case. No rattles either

I use a Griffin iSqueez, its a shaped rubber cup that goes in a cupholder, and grips the iPhone/iPod/PDA/Phone or whatever, faces 2 ways to hold wide stuff like an iPod or iPhone or narrow stuff like a phone or iPod nano. Can't find it sold in shops now but I got mine for less than £10 delivered from USA on ebay.

Depends how close to you in the car your cupholders are.
