`Total` petrol station local to me (Gillingham, Dorset) has increased the price of unleaded by 4p/ltr in the last 2 or 3 weeks, and now stands at 88.9p/ltr (diesel 100.9)

Anybody else noticed this sudden inflation, or is it just local to here?

83.9p per litre for standard unleaded at the supermarkets in birmingham but 86.9p per litre at Texaco / Shell and 87.9p/l at BP

I am sure there's a reason such as th collapsing sterling, climate change, global warming, credit crunch or something

Leighton Buzzard was 82.9p at most of the filling stations this week. Over the weekend both Shell and Tesco went up to 83.9 but now Tesco is on 85.9!

€ 1,15 / Litre over here at the moment for unleaded, so 89p sounds bloody good, that's only about 87 cent isn't it? wink

As the value of the £ goes down against US$, petrol will go up.

Now £1 is worth $1.38. Last Januray it was £1 is worth $2.10.

As £ falls further oil will cost us more.

It's a bugger but that's the situation.
