Hi all, i read through the site regulary and dont really comment much butid like to put this into writing, hopefully it might clear a few things for me.

Im honestly not asking for any pity but maybe a few words of advice could help

im 25 years old and my dad of 50 passed away last week, he had been suffering from pancreatic cancer for the last two years and it has been up and down for him, the last two months though have been horrendous. He lives in Denbigh north wales and im in Bolton so visiting him had been quite difficult, and as my luck would have it i was made redundant about 3 weeks ago, the car insurance had to be cancelled and i had to sign on for the first time in my life. My girlfriend daughter and i are now staying in wales with my mother for the time being trying to sort things out the best we can. Sorry to be going on a bit.

One problem i have and im not sure what to do with is my dads car, he has a Supra TT which we have just re registered and have to move to bolton, the car will be sold soon but theres a couple of problems with it, Its an auto but it jumps out of the highest gear. My dad had a couple of people look at it but they couldnt suss it out, if anyone knolws of this problem please could you let me know who best to take it to, or whatthe actual problem is.

I know recovery from north wales to bolton isnt going to be cheap but we need to get it back there and get it sorted out

thanks for reading and i apoligise for going on a bit

thanks
john

You might be better of posting this in Jap Chat, or getting it moved by a moderator, there are lots of very knowledgable people and Supra owners over there who may be able to shed some light on your problem. Best of luck with everything else fella...

If your a member of the AA or RAC etc, you could call and advise that YOUR car has broken down in Denbigh, I'm sure you membership would be cheaper for a year than transporting it back to Bolton.

First thing I'd try with the box problem is flushing the transmision oil out and swapping any filters.........but as has been said before, the supra and jap forums are the best place to look
