To the lady in the blue car in Glastonbury
Discussion
I am truly sorry I made a mistake and read the road incorrectly but you spotted my mistake at the same time I did and hit the brakes we both adverted a severe accident and for that I thank you.
You have my utmost respect and even though I tried to apologize out of the window I should have asked you to pull over to let me get out and say sorry.
I apologized as best could and you accepted it but I could have done more for that I am sorry.
Lady you saved my wife’s life and for that I am truly grateful.
I was the one at fault sorry.

I dont get it, I am sure it is apologise, so it should be apologised? How I have always spelt it, and been told to spell it, and adding a Z in made it American spelling, but for some reason even Collins dictionary is coming up with a apologize, oh f
k it I dont care
Neither's right nor wrong, but typically the English way was -ize, Americans write -ise for many words. The real nasty Americanisms are turning perfectly proper words like 'burgled' into 'burglarised' or something equally distasteful.
