Hey PH's.

Apart from sports cars which we all love, we mostly need a family hack - for me, Having a newborn son, a dog and all the nonsense that goes with them. My current X3 can't cope. Boot is useless. Can anybody tell me what to get that's still fun(ish) to drive and actually has room in it? budget is definitely second hand. Landrover D3 are still too much, and at 2.7t too heavy.

Can't bring myself to buy a Volvo..

I ski in the winter, Mountain bike and camping in the summer (hello sailor - not that sort of camping you understand?)

Need space, please advice

A friend just bought a Tourag - don't know about fun, but it is very nicely put together and finished.

For a little over 12k you could possibly get an early Porsche Cayenne. They are good to drive.

M5 touring, probably not budget freindly but damned fine cars.

Failing that, it's got to be an RS6 yes
