Gutting for the owners of that, never nice to see a car like that on fire frown Not sure why the police are doing an investigation on it

There are videos of it bursting into flames on youtube, along with some moronic commentary rolleyes

If I had seen that happening I'd have been running around looking for a fire extinguisher. It may not have been much use but I'd rather give it a go than stand there like a cock, filming it and taking the piss out of someone's pride and joy burning to pieces.

I like the 'well informed' commentary by the jealous retards on the video. I would love a car like that and it breaks my heart to see that happen to it!! What a waste of a beautiful and stunning car..........at least no-one was hurt I suppose.

Lee (Feeling a little sad at that sight!)

Yet another super duper hyper car catches fire. No wonder the police are investigating it. It sounds like another, Dear insurance company, somehow my expensive super car has caught fire, just as I was having threatening letters from the balifs about having my house reposessed, please ignore the receipt for clutch and brake fluid from Halfords with a time stamp of 5 minutes before the incident. Can I have my 120 grand cheque now. Yours sincerely M.Hunt esquire.

Quite possibly a lot of people that stretched themselves to put some flash cars on tick on the basis of income that was dependant on much more than just basic rate, and therefore having some 4 wheeled negative equity sat on the drive that they can't pay for.

If this were the case for this car, however, I'd have thought that you'd want to torch it somewhere less public.

And those tossers on the left taking pictures of themselves with it in the back ground

Also is it me, or did it take the Fire brigade ages to turn up considering it is in a city centre?

So you think in the middle of nowhere would be less suspicious.

While taking pleasure from someone else's misfortune is very nasty, theres a couple of things to consider.

1) (although this is going only on the video) An extinguisher is going to have very little effect on a car fire that well developed. Opening an engine compartment like that with only an extinguisher for protection - no thanks.

2)Is it really worth risking your life for a piece of metal? Someone else's piece of metal at that? If that had crashed and had someone trapped inside - fair do's. As it is, the only thing thats going to hurt in that video is the owners pride (and probably wallet).

Im not trying to put the cat among the pigeons here - just thought id throw some thoughts in.

If it were my car, I think I would rather have passersby videoing the fire which could be used in any future insurance/police investigations than endangering themselves by trying to put it out with fire extinguishers - which would probably be a futile exercise anyway.
