Just done a session with RideDrive. Top stuff! A great way to become faster and safer at the same time. I know a few people here have also highly recommended RideDrive, but I thought I'd add to the list.

Yes, they're very good. (Did you do a day each then?) You certainly learn how to get a lot more out of your car! It's not the first time I've done this style of road driving and it gets more fun each time

Details?

What is it then? Scratch that....I can work out that bit, but who is it with? For some reason I'm under the impression that it's with the Police?

AFAIK its done by serving or retired Police class 1 instructors. That reminds me must get myself on one soon, anyone done one in the South Hants region.

Alex, who took me, is a serving Trafpol with the Linclonshire force. Taught me loads without me even realising it, and it has stuck. Can't speak highly enough of it. I was knackered with all the concentration, afterwards, though.

I think Mungo has done RideDrive, and he's terrorising the motoring general public and young women in that part of the world.

Mungo ??

I had a session with Tom (todiddly) who seemed to know the roads around the A272, Chichester and environs pretty well.

As everyone has said: a top day and very, very worthwhile for anyone who drives on the road.

Now thats the sort of response I wanted to hear , thanks Jeremy. Talking of the 272 when is the next surrey 'dawn run' , only ask as dawn is at a little more civilised time this time of year (only joshing!)

I think it could be high time for a run out on a crisp January day.

And on that note, during my RideDrive session Tom introduced me to his favourite driving road that will fit in just fine with the route for the next run....

Look forward to that, I may recognise it, but I'll wait and see.
