Why is it that EVERY prototype or new car that adorns these hallowed pages gets compared to one TVR or another?

TVR do not have a trademark on lights/knobs/wheels/bonnets/rears etc.etc.etc. so STOP SAYING THAT IT JUST LOOKS LIKE A TUSCAN/TAMORA/CERBIE/SAGARIS/GRIFFITH/T30/T400/TW4T IT's DRIVING ME MAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!

Not aimed at you directly Schnozz but just have a look at previous threads with pretty much any new car you care to mention. I bet there's at least 1 post saying 'the front end looks like a Tuscan'

It is common, there was a rageing thread over some fiat or other that supposedly looked like a tuscan a while back - the resembelence was in the number of wheels i think

Given the fairly wide range of different styles TVR has put out, and the lack of any real "family" looks....it's not surprising there's a TVR that looks like it somewhere....you'd be as well saying "that has the front end of a car"

And many TVR's that look like other cars - Lotus Esprit and The Wedges spring to mind - probably cause they were designed by the same hand (or ruler anyway) IIRC

Unsurprising as they are generally made from bit of other cars!

Before all the TVR partisans get all huffy, I have had 3 of them and loved every one!
