RE: Ferraris at Autosport 2004

Funny story : went to the Autosport show, not bad, plenty to see though a few too many tool and model car stalls for my liking ...
Anyway, we come (the three of us) to the Ferrari stand, and theres a queue .... I mean, a QUEUE ... the Ferrari stand is all enclosed in with tall walls on all four sides, and there's a single entrance way into the stand. This queue is HUMUNGOUS and wraps all the way round the building and disappears off down the hall ... we stood and watched it for a couple of minutes, and the queue didn't even move ... an hours wait at least.
Anyway, one of the mates I was with is American and cheeky as hell, and he also owns a 328, so he whips out his FOC membership card, goes marching up to this rather good looking woman on the gate and asks if we can bypass the queue because we are club members ...
Well, blow me down if she didn't say yes ! She then personally escorted us through the barriers alongside the main queue, and into the stand !
Er, we did get some RATHER black looks from the poor g*ts in the queue though
