Anyone know the web address for the page that allows you to see what car a particular reg number belongs to? Not having much luck looking on Google etc.........(can't seem to find it on RAC's own site either!).

The the AA insurance site - you may have to put some details in there, but IIRC there is a reg checker on there somewhere when you put your car details in. Doesn't always work though, not sure that it likes all personalised registrations.

Sadly a few of my old motors appeared to have gone to their graves although it tells me my old 70 Triumph Stag was manufactured in 2000.perhaps it was SORN then reappeared in 2000

Mmm. Not sure I want all that info on our cars so readily available to the general public....

My first car has been written off! So has my old Citroën!!

I see my old mk 3 Cavalier is still going, though. Bet it's had a fair bit of welding on it by now!!!

I see reg number A1 is still around.

I thought It had been lost.

A3 still exists, too.

A car which I replaced in 1994 when it had done 116k miles is still going and had an owner change in Oct 2002 - how many miles might it have done now?

Used to see this regularly, about 15 years ago, on an old white granada estate plastered with dunlop stickers.

FANTASTIC NEWS! PEN 15 is alive and well and residing on the front of a black ML.

Why isn't my number plate on the site though? It's not a dodgy private one...

And RAC3R is on an automatic Volvo estate!
