Bye Bye Blackpool, Hello Stuttgart
Discussion
Well the deal is done and I've found one, I've now got on order a Boxster S 550, one of only 160 (or 250 depending on which dealer you ask) bound for the UK and part of a worldwide production run of 1953. Its due for a May build, June delivery (hopefully in time for Le Mans). It was a hard decision but I think its the right one to drop from a three car to a two car family and wave goodbye to the Griff, it'll be in the classifieds soon and I'll be sorry to see it go. Part of me feels like I'm deserting one of the last great british marques but for me the Porsche will just be so much more practical, TVR are great cars but lets be honest I'm either getting old or turning gay

What's a 550 when it's not having it's wankel re-rotaried, then?

Yep, I'm gonna see that going down the road and say WOW, just like every other porch with two front ends that's ever been made but nice calipers.
Definately worth the extra.
