"The Shadow Hawk produces 1,100 horsepower and can still get greater than 20 miles per gallon"

Would be a pig to park though. But IF it can lift itself up like this then I want one as well.

I've heard of vehicles with directional headlights, but never one where the whole fromt of the car turns in the direction of the steering with no visible hinge point!

I thought the same, looks like something a kid would draw.

I reckon youve just landed on someone's college design project.

Its not a serious site or vehicle.

They clearly haven't produced even a single prototype. It's all computer renderings and the sort of list of statistics that I used to write down as an eight year old.

I just read that too.

Highly unlikely!

Batmobile anyone?

A quick search and this looks genuine.

How exactly does that link add any credibility?

Dearest fellows of PH,

Did you know that they removed the word "gullible" from the dictionary? Yes, it's really true!

Cheers,
The Moose hehe

Id love this too be real but it isnt, if they had a prototype their would be pictures of it, they cant manufacture one without a prototype, its also likely is doesnt meet alot of regs.

This one is better, and more credible.

It's just one of many found if you search for it. I wasn't about to link them all. Randomly picked that one.

Here's a more trustworthy one;

http://classifieds.robbreportcollection.com/Shadow...

If The Robb Report are 'mentioning' it.......then it must have some credibility, surely.

Aparently, cheapest model starts @ circa $700k!

ETA: Most of the articles do say the same thing though.

Can't really find anything more substantial that articles. The stat's given do sound pretty ridiculous for a vehicle like this!

Am so hoping this is real.....just because it's so MAD, it's awesome biggrin

Do you think they took their inspiration from the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust?

Personally I prefer these:

We had one at work, and they were told not to drive about in the car park when it was warm because it kept tearing the tarmac surface!

As well as Batmobile....I'm detecting a little 'APC from Aliens' in it.

I'm still searching for something more credible than articles on websites.

School project more likely. Somebody has learnt how to use a 3D modelling package but hasn't learnt anything about vehicle engineering, design, production, marketing etc. etc.

They have a patent for something called a 'Spider Drive system;

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3263873&...

Quote from Facebok page;

"Shadow Hawk Vehicles: To answer your question best I have added a photo entitled “Spider-Drive Patent.” Basically, power is sent from the engine to our patented transmission, from there, the power goes out to each wheel using independent drive shafts. Power is delivered to a gearbox in each wheel and then down to the wheel.

With these special patents, power can be shifted from a wheel that loses traction to the other three in milliseconds."

Shame about the non-existent steering lock, the need to have telescopic driveshafts and the fact that it's written by a twelve year old...
