I thought I'd share this with everyone, not just on the Fezza section, because it's not every day you get to see one.

The manager at the local Ferrari dealership gave us a nice tour of the facility today...this is featured in the showroom for another day or two. The new owner just bought it recently, and get this, he plans to race it in vintage events. You gotta love someone who shells out circa $7 mil for a rare Ferrari and wants to drive it instead of letting it sit in a showroom somewhere, let alone drive it in a race.

Anyways, enjoy the pics, and if you'd like a larger version suitable for wallpaper, e-mail me through my profile.

Mike

That last one is of me, wishing it was mine

I don't suspect it will be there long...they had positioned the cars to be able to move it out, perhaps even this evening. It will be in the back room for awhile longer though. They also have a customer's F-40 in the service area, under a cover, with the back end removed and sitting in a corner.

The real star of the service bay though, is Paul Newman's race Daytona, which I didn't snap a picture of and am now kicking myself. I believe that car is also owned by the gent who has this 250 GTO.

Well thats a shame if it wont be there long. If i can get my parents to take me up ill get a picture of it for you.

I wonder If they would take a $50 to start it up and rev it for me.

I like this more than the red, just because it's so different. According to the staff, this was #4 off the assembly line, BTW.

I like it better than the red and I have seen a red one in the flesh so to speak.

How have you managed 4000 posts in 9 months? I have only just done 2000 in 2 years. You have too much time on your hands. Nice GTOs though

I think you would need to be seriously rich to buy a car like this! Imagine f you had $7m to spend only on a car / cars?

I can forsee that many of the PH'ers garages would be filled with all sorts of exotica and not just one car.

Bloody lovely car though!

There's a small (784k) clip here for anyone with a fondness for classic Ferraris.

Chassis 11100*

Enjoy

*btw It's a GT4 not a GTO, despite the clip name

I think (could be wrong) that its the colour scheme of Equipe National Belge- a Belgina racing team from the 1950's/1060's who also raced a Yellow D-type Jaguar when they both were new.
