I will speak s-l-o-w-l-y a-n-d c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y for our skin bashing brethren.

Ugg.

Beer.

Women.

These are a few of the things that will definately NOT be supplied if you volunteer for the 'Flaming Gatsos'(the Pistonhead band for Pistonfest).

If you are confident of your unflapable metronomic qualities then get back to me via my profile.

You need to be unstoppable 'cos there is little chance of a rehearsal. It will be a 30-40 mimute set of standards - nowt fancy required but if Simon Phillips happens to be out there...come on down!

You would need to bring your own snare/stand/sticks and that's about it.

So what are you waiting for, e-mail me today!

What has the world come to. Not even a motorbike in the swimming pool to talk about.

That sounds about right
Did he knock erratically on the door?

All I can say is that when he started to play I thought he'd dropped his kit down the stairs

Just woke up!

15 years on the kit with lots of big stage experience. Played in front of Queen Liz a few times too.

Won't be around though. Sorry.

Surely someone can just program the required rhythms?

I will destroy you all.

The drum is the most important errrrm... Instrument?

The drum kit is definitely the musical tool of choice for heterosexual males. Either that or bass guitar - Leather trousers really aren't my thing, thanks!

Sorry, fella - Doesn't look like I'll be attending due to severe shortage of funds!

OK so we have a big bunch of absentee drummers so far.

There must be some good looking/talented drummers out there (sorry, had to stop before I choked there).

Trouble is you said, "You'll need to bring your own snare/stand/sticks - that's about it!"

You see no self respecting drummer would/could play without his/her bass, hi-hat, ride & crash cymbals, at least 2 tom toms, hot rods, brushes AS WELL AS the snare and the sticks - unless the "standards" you are doing are all military marches!!Yuk!!

And I realise I cannot get my full kit into my TVR! Also I'm hardly young any more, would need at least one practice and am not a very good drummer anyway!! But I do still play...

Tell me more of the event - not just Pistonheads - but when is the band playing? What are the dates (need to check with social secretary - her indoors)! And why only snare drum - that would be just tooooo boring. We drummers like to let fly a bit!!

Damn I wish I was coming to PistonFest this year. I'd love to play with you guys.

Sadly, I'll be arriving a few weeks later.

Ugh.
