Last night my house was broken into and the keys to the X5 stolen with the car then being driven away.

Registration number is X5 NAJ.

If anyone sees it can you contact the police please.

Bloody hell! I hope the theiving swines are caught sharpish. FFS, you work hard, smart or a bit of both to earn your living and people take it apon themselves to nick off with your stuff. Just not on.

We had the same thing happen to the RS2 when it first came out. They only used it for the ram part of a ram-raid

Eyes peeled chaps.

MARA

What area did it get nicked in?

Edited to add: Sorry mate, I hope you are okay. Should have put that first I apologise. Even though it is only a car that's missing there is always a feeling of being completely violated which is a horrible feeling.

Again, hope you are okay.

Stuart - we are fine - thanks. Fortunatly the Noble didn't go, and the other stuff is minor (wallet, ipod and phone seems to be the total of it).

Mara - it's in the Croydon area.

Mara - we are all fine - no worries. Funny enougth I don't actually feel much at the moment - it's all a matter of fact really.

People get burgled every day I suppose - so c'est la vie.

It's a pain having to sort it all out. Phone calls like mad to everyone this morning - groan!

Croydon! Bloody hell!

The RS2 was nicked from Kensington and used for a ram-raid in Croydon.

It might be worth doing what we did and invest in some electric shutters behind all access doors. There is no way they can open the doors as the shutters come down right behind the door.

Even if you take the keys upstairs, you never know what a professional criminal will do. Especially in the times we live in.

Bloody hell Justin!

Glad you are both alright.

Few of the chaps in work are from the Croydon area, I'll tell them to keep their eyes open...

Creepy to think the scum were in your house while you and yours were all fast asleep , this seems quite a common type of crime in the UK .. and virtually unheard of over here .

Bugger - glad to hear that you and yours are ok though.

Be wary as I'm sure I read somwhere that once this has happened once it's far more likely to happen again.

Blimey joust, have you only got the FOUR cars now? (just trying to cheer you up).

I'm very sorry that this has happened to you, but glad that you and your partner were unharmed. The thieves are obviously professional, and were looking for a specific vehicle - it'll probably be in a container on it's way to the Russian mafia.

It's easy to think of things after the event - presumably it didn't have a tracking device fitted?

I hope it all gets sorted out quickly and without any hassle, and the bank doesn't make you pay for any spending off your credit cards etc.

BTW, you couldn't e-mail me your PIN number could you? I'm having a lot of trouble getting cash out
