Hi all

A quick question. I spotted this is available for free on my credit cards' rewards scheme, so I have ordered one. I just wondered if anyone knew who manufactures it and rebadges it for RAC?

I'm betting a place in China smile
I wouldn't worry too much who made it for that price but you can be sure not Snap On or other expensive make rebadged.

Awful, awful, awful. I wnated a cheap air compressor. Argos do a few, one with the RAC badge on it. Well, I'm not expecting perfection, and I dont need it, but would they really put their name on some cheap tat?

Yes. The RAC badge is a sticker, mis-alaigned. The plastic cover hiding the attachments is very fragile, and falls off, rather then hinges on (the hinges are not big enough, so its not "broken", the compressor is not very powerful, and so unstable you have to hold it still, else it vibrates itself off the shelf when in use.

The accessories look like the came from a christmas cracker- you know that unfinished stamped plasti frm a mold look?? and whose threads dont alaign properly to the pump

Quite simply, the worst tool I have ever seen. And as a boy, I made some out of lego...

Bought the same rac compressor. Very noisy and it fell apart due to vibration. Bought another , branded ring. Nice and quiet and the body is made of metal. Still working over 12 months later. Gets a lot of use , blowing up footballs

Well the freebie tool box turned up today. Awful quality. Need to make a few new holes and add some screws just to give it some structural rigidity I think!
