Anybody won one of those car lotteries?

Hello everyone if you are having problems with Rev comps only allowing 1 postcard per competition instead of the max allowed please send me proof of you posting them with the time and date as well as your name and contact info as we will be sending the evidence to ASA and the gambling commission.
Prize competitions and free draws: The requirements of the Gambling Act 2005 section 4.3 states it must be no less convenient to enter by post than by paying and Rev comps only allows 1 entry per competition for postcards and up to 10 entries for paid which would make it less convenient and forcing customers to pay if they want more than 1 entry.

What a curious first post. I was only semi serious about these things being less than legit but this guy / girl is suggesting legal action? Have I missed something?Prize competitions and free draws: The requirements of the Gambling Act 2005 section 4.3 states it must be no less convenient to enter by post than by paying and Rev comps only allows 1 entry per competition for postcards and up to 10 entries for paid which would make it less convenient and forcing customers to pay if they want more than 1 entry.

i haven't checked their T&C.
But you must allow the same amount of possible entries paid or postal.
You can't decide to only allow 1 entry per competition for postals, otherwise its massively disadvantaged.
Just had a look and it states:But you must allow the same amount of possible entries paid or postal.

“Postal entries are limited to one competition entrant per postcard - do not send multiple postcards in one envelope - they will not be counted”
So my reading of that is that you aren’t limited to one entry, you could send 10 separate postcards to enter 10 times.

On one hand they should be sticking to the rules and treating postals exactly the same as paid entries. On the other hand I'm not actually bothered by it. I only do 1 or 2 postals per draw and when paying I only buy the same so it doesn't affect me at all.
As long as they accept entries at all they are doing better than most other sites so it seems a strange one to target. Why not go after the sites who claim not to have received postals posted a week earlier?
If there is too much pressure to accept 10 postals from each person then I reckon all that will happen is the ticket price will drop and ticket numbers increase to make it not worth the price of a stamp. Not having 200k tickets at 99p is what sets RC apart so it would be a shame to try and change that. What won't happen is ticket prices and odds remain as-is but you suddenly get 10 free entries...

This 100%. Rev Comps only ever accept one ticket per competition, I’ve tried sending 10 in before and they processed only one, I can only imagine them laughing at the other 9 postcards in their office! But that’s fair do’s to be honest, they are very good at processing the singles that I send them and as I’ve said before It almost encourages me to actually purchase more with them. The others are a waste of time with postcards so I don’t bother with them at all. Rev Comps have the best odds and long may that continue. As long as they accept entries at all they are doing better than most other sites so it seems a strange one to target.
