My 280bhp Legacy GTB does 32 on a run and averages 25-26 in mixed use

Anything with power will drink when you use the power though.

Alfa 156 2.5 Sportwagon? Not the biggest estate but one of the prettiest with a fantastic engine and in manual form should average 25 to 30mpg, hit 60 in around 7.5 seconds and the best one in the country is cheaper than £3k.
