Was the blue Tahiti? The Magenta is a cool colour but really went out of fashion in the 80s. Consequently, a lot of Magenta Triumphs had their colour changed.

There's a guy I know who had a red TR6 which he said he could have sold much easier had it had its original purple paint as these days Mahgenta is quite sought after.
