Just out of curiosity, what is the point of this thread?.
Also you need an option for "wouldn't use one due to inflated costs they charge insurers which in turn increases insurance costs", or something along those lines.
thats another type of discussion I was trying to avoid and its corollary smile
From users weve had both sides
those who've had their car sorted out quickly and back on the road
those who've found themselves on the ende of months of hire car with nothing being fixed
Obviously cant name and shame so put all those in a big box

You do know that three of the companies you've quoted are the same company operating under different brands don't you?
Not sure that matters?

Of course it is.rolleyes

After all who challenge the validity of a poll with 25 responses from a potential pool of 30million motorists. I take it statistics and validity of sampling aren't your forte
I thought it was a poll of interested PH users?

If so, then for the results to be valid, you'll need to find out how many have experience of each company too, so that you can assess the satisfaction levels compared to overall usage. Comparisons like this don't work.
I'm surprised the insurer referred AMCs dont have higher numbers, as someone had posted that referral is almost automatic.
The results are valid within the limits of the poll question

Then you're assuming that people are aware that they are being referred to one. Successful outsourcers operate as a branded wing of their client so that service is seamless. You're not overly aware commercially are you?
You mean when you get phoned up by someone saying 'about your accident/claim, I'm from <insert your insurer> assistance'
Customers may have a tad more nonce than theyre given credit

Well if heaven forbid I have an accident I wont be fking dealing with a management company.

I know someone who had a mini clubman for 7 weeks through the local mini's 'approved management company' to replace a tyre/alloy and trim strip.

They said it was alright as the other driver would be paying... asked why it was taking too long 'availability of parts'.
Right.
Thats why there's this poll smile

I don't see an option that says 'like fk I'd use one'

There could be another poll for people non AMC users and various reasons

Wheres me buns

Where did you get that neatly round £500m figure from R1Loon and how much savings have you allowed by not having all those staff to do the work subcontracted out? Would that be about 10% or £500 million too?

Yes it was very naughty but we had a team of 15 people literally talking people into making fictitious claims and it was all coming out of the same purse.
Haven't there been threads about people complaining that there insurers have phoned them to make sure theyre deinately ok and really didnt want to make a claim.
But this is all another story
I'm trying to find out how many of us have had good service from their AMC or not
