Are they Cayenne wheels?

What will be cheaper to run, E38 728 or E39 530?
I forget the name but they were a cost option on the 996TT.

YOU MAY WANT TO BE CAREFUL BEFORE CLICKING AT WORK, PURELY FOR LANGUAGE REASONS.
7/11/11 Looks like a certain PHer (non threadist). In fairness he's been wearing red trousers for years.

I can't afford an SL. But if I did, I wouldn't buy this one.

Weasel words all over the place ("This is Special Internet cash price on production of this advert at point of sale + transaction fee.") and look at that ride height!!

Borkus Maximus. I accept the picture could have been taken on the "raised" suspension setting, but it's an odd thing to do shirley?
WTF?

Do these cars have a raised suspension setting? That looks to me like the uber expensive air springs have st themselves x 4.

Apart from which, just just know the sort of company that car's kept in the latter part of its life. Poor thing.
My mother's had one of these since Oct 2002. A few threadists saw it at a thread sunday pub meet. I've also nicked it to do two Megahoon trips touring around Italy.

The suspension does have a height adjustment (Not sure if it was a cost option): Normal, bit more ground clearance and fkloads more ground clearance, I'd suggest that this photo shows it in the latter setting. In ten years the only non regular servicing items have been a replacement central locking pump and a replacement suspension unit due to leakage. A good cruiser/euro tourer but at the prices these SLs are today I imagine most threadists would opt for the more powerful 55.

Christ, those new supercharged XJ things are quick, arent they?
Not driven the XJ, but the engine makes an XF an interesting proposition.
