And I must say it did look good. Website quotes over 250mpg and a price of £30,000 including dealer and government contributions. Is his the future of motoring?

Should read Ampera. Can you really get this sort of MPG? 250, seems incredible and there are used ones for 25k.

Ha ha. I understand your sentiment. But the world moves on and this seems to be a good leap forward that will appeal to many. Imagine 250 mpg that means at 10, 000 miles a year you would use £20 of petrol A MONTH!
