Ceramic Brakes - Longevity of discs and pads

on the basis of one made up number I will go with 42.
Very helpful - good work.Audi suggests discs last up to around 185k - clearly that will differ by individual, but it's a line in the sand given a certain driving style.
Given that driving style, I was asking whether those wiser than I could opine, based on their experience or otherwise, how long a set of pads would typically last.

Or on a more helpful note, the old man's Turbo had the fronts changed at about 26k I think, there was still plenty of meat on them but not worth the risk of scoring the discs for the sake of what is effectively a few quid.
Interesting, thanks.Or on a more helpful note, the old man's Turbo had the fronts changed at about 26k I think, there was still plenty of meat on them but not worth the risk of scoring the discs for the sake of what is effectively a few quid.
I guess scored rotors has a whole new meaning when you're looking at £thousands to replace.
