Hi,

Quick question - does anyone know what esure charge for comprehensive cover whilst abroad. I was thinking of taking out a policy with them but will require 2-4 weeks per year abroad. They are otherwise extremely competitive but I realise this is an extra charge. I can't find the details anywhere on their website. Any current customers know the charges?

Thanks
Steve

Esure definitely charge for comprehensive cover (third party is provided as suggested above, but this is not enough cover for me). The question that I can't seem to find the answer to is how much they charge, as this may make the policy not such a good idea if it's a lot.

I called them and they said they couldn't say until I requested it, assuming I took the policy. They said it changes every day depending on risk assessment. I asked if they could give me a rough figure, for example a week in France or Germany and their advisor said no - couldn't tell me if it would be £10 or £100.

Not very helpful... Good one Esure, you've lost a potential customer there.
